One Step Malaria rapid test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the detection of Malaria histidine-rich protein II (Pf HRP-II) and plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) in vitro assay.It is used for detection of Malaria Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium Vivax in human blood. This device is intended to be used as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of infection with Plasmodium.Any reactive specimen with One Step Malaria pf/pv Test must be confirmed with alternative testing method(s) and clinical findings.
Specimen Collection
For serum, collect blood into a container without anticoagulant. If the specimen cannot be tested on the day of collection, store the serum specimen in a refrigerator or freezer. Bring the specimens to room temperature before testing.Do not freeze and thaw the specimen repeatedly.
Test Procedure
1.Follow the illustration and allow test kit to equilibrate to room temperature for 20-30min prior to testing.
2.Use the dropper, drip one drop (25μl)specimen to the Instructions below the arrow and sample place.
3.And meanwhile add two drops(100ul) Sample Diluent .
4.Wait for 5-10 minutes and read results. Over 20 min, the result is invalid.
Storage And Stability
The test kit can be stored at room temperature (2 to 30°C) in the sealed pouch to the date of expiration.The test kit should be kept away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
