On the afternoon of July 2, 2026, we visited and studied at SPG Industrial Study Tour Base of Automated Container Terminal. Its exhibition hall integrates historical popular science, hands-on interaction, immersive VR and real-scene sightseeing in one comprehensive venue.
We first toured the 1st floor showcasing a century of port evolution: from manual work to semi-mechanization and fully automated terminals. The giant port sand table, historical videos and container machinery exhibits tell how the Lianggang Team conquered foreign tech blockades.Any remarkable achievement never comes overnight; it is the fruit of long-term perseverance, constant refinement and continuous innovation. This aligns perfectly with the spirit of Sinoland — forging ahead unceasingly through persistence.
The second floor features interactive hands-on experiences. We operated remote quay crane simulators to load and unload containers, and planned unmanned vehicle routes via the AGV dispatching system. We also took part in interactive quizzes comparing automated and traditional ports, and experienced old port operation modes to witness industry upgrades.This allowed everyone to grasp the core of modern development: it lies in technological empowerment, as well as a professional, rigorous and efficient work ethic.
The most impressive part was the fourth floor. We overlooked the panoramic view of the real unmanned port. We observed round-the-clock operations of unmanned AGVs, automated rail cranes and giant quay cranes, and truly felt the power of national heavy equipment.This made everyone realize that true strength stems from day-in and day-out pursuit of perfection, iterative innovation and breakthroughs, as well as quiet dedication and responsibility forged through consistent hard work.
